Ariel – Exhale Pilates & Dance Instructor

Ariel Swan has been dancing for 16 years and has over 10 years experience as a dance teacher and professional dancer. She teaches jazz, lyrical, hip hop, tap and ballet to all ages. Ariel has danced in feature films, music videos and appeared in shows around the city and on cruise lines. 5 years ago, Ariel turned to pilates to improve her strength as a dancer, but fell in love with pilates as a way of life. Centered on the core, pilates strengthens and tones muscles from the inside out, creating long, lean muscles while imposing minimal impact on joints. Soon after discovering the amazing ways pilates could improve her fitness level and muscle strength, Ariel decided to share her love of pilates by teaching. Classically trained in dance and pilates, Ariel’s students are her passion, and she is inspired by watching them grow and leave her class feeling energized and confident.

Ariel’s Pilates Class

Ariel’s teaches a classical pilates mat class set to fun music that welcomes all levels from beginner to advanced. She provides individual attention to each of her students while leading a group class. Pilates tones and lengthens muscles while strengthening the core.

Ariel’s Ballet Pilates Class

Ariel’s ballet pilates class is a well-balanced mix of the two disciplines, and suitable for all levels. The class mixes traditional ballet warm-up exercises, such as tendus and developpes, with pilates mat exercises. Ballet pilates will centre you and bring out your inner gracefulness, while strengthening your core and toning your muscles. No dance experience is necessary as this class is open to all levels.
