Kristen – Exhale Pilates Instructor

Aspiring to be able to take both a ballet and pilates class in one day was a dream, so combining the two you get both her passions. The grace, coordination, and flow from a ballet class and adding the core strength from pilates. In this class you will learn the importance of Joseph Pilates Contrology by using the control of isolating certain muscle groups. Using this Theory you can then strengthen the smaller more refined muscles in the body to help with good posture.
Kristen’s main focus in class is teaching her students proper form. Teaching her class in an intelligent way to make sure everyone is getting the most out of each movement is what Kristen strives for each class. Understanding why you are doing each movement and doing it correctly enhances your workout. But don’t worry she uses visual images to trigger instinctual muscle reactions. Therefore, you don’t have to over think to much in her class. She also has a great sense of humor that will engage your core muscles that much more.
Feel free to join the class even if you are not a dancer. The class is for all levels and will be modified from beginner to advance.
After class you will feel elongated, stronger and ready to take on your up coming week with heaps of energy.
