Dan first tried Yoga in 1997, but it wasn’t until 2003 that he started regularly practicing Power Yoga with Eion Finn. Loving the positive vibe and the incredible full body workout, he decided in 2004 that he wanted to teach Yoga. After some searching, he stumbled upon Prana Yoga and in August 2004 he did his 200 hour teacher training with Shakti Mhi. Dan started teaching 2 days after his training was finished and has been going strong since.

Dan spends a lot of time exploring sound, music and other healing modalities. Ultimately, for Dan, life is all about healing, evolving and expanding awareness. Yoga is a strong tool in his own personal development. He works to create a space of acceptance, forgiveness and fun. Where everyone, no matter what level, can explore their own edge and discover their own bliss, and maybe even stumble upon their own truth.

Dan’s Hatha Yoga Class

Dan likes to work with the breath. He believes this is where the real power of Yoga comes from. Drawing from Power and Vinyasa styles, he likes to create sequences where we can all tap into our own cycle of breath and our own strength and create movement with every inhale and exhale. This all leads up to a beautiful stillness that we all know as savasana(relaxation). You will leave his classes with increased stamina, strength, flexibility and hopefully a deeper sense of who you are and where you are going, focused and confident.
