Nicole – Mom & Baby, Prenatal Yoga Instructor

Nicole was a ballet dancer from the age of three until an injury caused her to take a break and re-evaluate her life.  A few years later she found yoga and was hooked! Nicole is a certified/registered yoga teacher who has been teaching yoga since 2008. She brings elements and experience from her own yoga practice into her teaching, with the philosophy of yoga for the mind, body and soul. Her joy is sharing yoga, so she encourages students to find well-being and balance. Throughout the past few years Nicole became certified in Pre-natal Yoga and Kids Yoga, and has trained with some inspiring teachers. Since having a baby boy, Nicole has made a strong personal connection with Pre-natal and Mom & Baby Yoga.

Prenatal yoga with Nicole gives expectant mothers the confidence and tools needed for childbirth. Through gentle postures, visualization and breath work we will help relieve stress, common pregnancy symptoms and prepare for the magical journey of childbirth. Prenatal yoga gives the expectant mother a chance to connect with her unborn child in a comfortable and nurturing environment.

Nicole’s Prenatal Yoga Class

Being a new mom herself, Nicole understands the needs of both mom and baby in her yoga class. Take some time out to relax and relieve stress on the body due to labour, breastfeeding and being a new mom! Through breath work, interaction and physical closeness we will create a strong and loving bond with our babies while having fun along the way. This yoga class is very open so you are welcome to comfort, feed or change your baby at anytime. We keep the babies engaged through postures and songs, so come enjoy yoga while meeting other new mothers and create a wonderful support system.
