Hatha Yoga Classes on Thursdays at 10am and Fridays at 5:30pm


At a very young age, Jolene felt there was more to life than meets the eye. Always curious about the metaphysical world, she began her journey beyond the physical realm, and continues to explore the possibility of containing, elevating, moving, and awakening energy in the body.

Jolene has been exploring the art of yoga ever since her sister dragged her to her first class in 2000. She dabbled in different styles and intensities for many years. In the midst of completing a 350 hour program in Traditional Thai Massage in 2003, she was given a glimpse into the calm waters of the panic sea. That day she walked into Shakti Mhia’s Hatha class at Prana Yoga. She knew she had found her teacher. She began her studies in 2005, diving into the science of yoga with Shakti, receiving certification in Classical Hatha, and never looked back. Even before her program was complete, Jolene began teaching in Prana Yoga Centre and committed herself wholeheartedly to the service of teaching. Expanding her experience, she also received Yin Yoga Certification after completing her training with Bernie Clark in 2007.

Jolene’s approach to yoga is ever-evolving; just as the natural flow of life is ever changing. She invites her students to use yoga to unlock repetitive and habitual patterns in the body/mind that cause pain, restriction, and imbalance. Join her on a journey through the physical body as she guides you along a creative flow of Classical Hatha and Yin postures, while embodying breath as a tool to unlock the bodies daily response to stress, tension, and physical exertion.

Bring acceptance to the ever evolving dynamic of your body, and you will find patience in the ever changing chaos of life.
